Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-27

These Terms are an agreement between you and Azadi Brands LLC, a Maryland limited liability company that provides the Crossfoot service ("Crossfoot", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the Crossfoot client portal at books.usecrossfoot.com, the sign-up site, the receipt inbox and the connections you make from the portal (together, the "Service"). What your subscription includes, and the help our accountant gives, is covered by the Subscription and Support Agreement; our handling of your information by the Privacy Policy. By ticking the box at sign-up you accept all three.

1. Your account

You sign in with your email address: each time, we email you a one-time code, and then you confirm it's you with a second step on your device, such as your fingerprint, Face ID or an authenticator app. There is no password. Keep your email account secure - anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You may invite others to your books; you are responsible for what they do there. Tell us at once at hello@usecrossfoot.com if you think someone has signed in who should not have.

2. What you may and may not do

You may view your books, run and print reports for any dates, make and correct entries, file receipts, and connect and disconnect your bank, sales channels, booking platforms and accounting software. You may not: try to reach anyone else's books or data; probe, scan or attack the Service; copy, modify or reverse-engineer the software; use the Service for anything unlawful; or upload anything you have no right to share.

3. Connections you make

When you connect a bank (through Plaid), a sales channel, a booking platform (for example Hospitable) or accounting software (for example Xero or QuickBooks), you authorize us to read the information that connection provides, for the purpose of keeping your books. We only read: the Service does not move money, change bookings, prices or payouts, or post anything back to those services. You can disconnect any of them at any time from the portal. The other service's own terms also apply to that connection.

4. Automated and AI-assisted work

Crossfoot is software you use to keep your own books. It uses automation, including AI models, to suggest categories, match receipts to transactions, reconcile accounts and prepare entries; nothing already recorded is silently rewritten. An accountant oversees the platform and is available to help, as the Subscription and Support Agreement describes, but you remain responsible for your books: for reviewing what the software suggests, and for your own statements.

5. Your data

Your financial data is yours. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the Service. You can download your books at any time while your account is open, and for 30 days after it ends.

6. Fees

Fees are set out in the Subscription and Support Agreement and charged through Stripe. If a payment fails we will tell you; if it is not resolved within 14 days we may make your portal read-only until it is.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and accurate but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change the Service. If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.

8. Ending

You may cancel at any time (see the Subscription and Support Agreement). We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or do not pay.

9. Disclaimers and limits

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

10. Electronic records

You agree that we may give you notices, statements and records electronically, by email or in the portal, and that your electronic acceptance of these documents is as binding as a signature.

11. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. If any part is unenforceable the rest still applies.

Transfer. We may transfer these Terms and your account to a company under common ownership with us, or to anyone who takes over the Crossfoot business, including a company formed to run Crossfoot. We will email you at least 7 days before it happens. After the transfer, that company provides the Service and bills your subscription on the same terms and price, and your books, connections and sign-in stay as they are. You may not transfer your account without our written agreement.
